Regular wellness visits and screenings reduce risks for chronic conditions and cancers, empowering informed decisions and long-term wellbeing.
Examples of Covered Women’s Preventive Care Services
  • Annual well-woman exams (routine and gynecological) once each per calendar year
  • Cancer prevention:
    • Breast mammography, once per year over age 40
    • Cervical
    • Colorectal (ages 45-75)
    • Genetic testing for BRCA-related cancers (preauthorization required)
    • STI screenings and counseling
  • Immunizations (HPV vaccine, flu shots)
  • Mental health screening
  • Obesity screening/counseling
  • Osteoporosis screening
  • Contraception access and counseling
