Examples of Covered Women’s Preventive Care Services
- Annual well-woman exams (routine and gynecological) once each per calendar year
- Cancer prevention:
- Breast mammography, once per year over age 40
- Cervical
- Colorectal (ages 45-75)
- Genetic testing for BRCA-related cancers (preauthorization required)
- STI screenings and counseling
- Immunizations (HPV vaccine, flu shots)
- Mental health screening
- Obesity screening/counseling
- Osteoporosis screening
- Contraception access and counseling
